Rough Sleeper Worker

12 month fixed-term, until 31/03/2021

£28,831 - £32,955 per annum, fully inclusive

Do you have the experience in working with single homeless and/or rough sleepers who may have substance misuse issues, offending history, health issues, vulnerabilities etc?

Would you enjoy a new challenge? This client group are very difficult to engage on a meaningful level, so this will be part of your challenge

You will need to have an overview and understanding of housing advice and homeless legislation, this is not a 9-5 Monday Friday role, as it will include some early mornings, evening work and occasional night walks.

The Rough sleeper worker roles are part of a successful bid to the MHCLG to help Slough address the needs of our rough sleepers and single homeless within the borough. The role/s sit within our diverse, experienced and expert, Housing Assessment Team.

This is a challenging role, you will need to be able to manage your own caseload but also work within a team environment, helping to ensure that Slough Borough Council are delivering excellent services to our customers.
