Network Administrator

Reading

Up to £40,000 + excellent benefits

We are working with a multinational engineering firm who are looking to recruit and up and coming Network Administrator.

You will play a key role in contributing as a project resource, acting as an escalation point for outage and problem events, and complete network administrative functions necessary to ensuring service delivery. Supporting the organisations IT Network infrastructure which includes installing and maintaining LAN/Wireless networks and devices, conducting circuit and traffic analysis and resolving latency or other performance issues, and troubleshooting/switching issues.

The successful Network Administrator will hold 3+ years' experience working within an networking environment. It would also be advantageous for you to hold proven experience supporting network systems preferably within a medium to large enterprise.

Desirable Experience (please note you do not need to have experience in each area to apply):

Juniper Routing and Switching (JunOS) and/or Cisco R&S
Switched Ethernet, Routing Protocols (BGP)
Client-Based IPSec/SSL VPN (Palo Alto Global Protect), Site-Based IPSec VPN Circuit Provisioning
Designing and implementing both the physical and wireless networks
Network Security Concepts, Best Practices, and Technologies
Palo Alto Firewalls
Protocol Analysis (Netflow, SNMP, Syslog, Wireshark)
Solarwinds Orion (NPM, NCM, NTA)
QoS, DNS, DHCP, Radius
Meraki Wireless, MX
