You will be the face of consumer marketing internally as well as externally therefore must have the personal attributes to believe in the brand you are promoting. You will essentially develop and execute the UK Consumer Marketing strategy in accordance with the organisations “vision”. We need to hire a candidate who has experience within Consumer Marketing or a Marketing role within a Consumer Brand!

* Situated within an established and successful Consumer Marketing team
* Building and maintaining strong key client relationships
* Work closely with the sales team, managing their expectations as well as working in sync to drive business development
* Work in collaboration with a variety of consumers who will include prestigious retail brands, architects and designers
* Build and drive brand awareness in an effective and professional manner
* Drive successful and innovative multi channel campaigns and enhancing internal communications
* Hire a PR Executive to support you

In addition to having a passion for marketing in general, the ideal candidate will have a track record of delivering successful campaigns and working with their direct report to create new ideas, plans and as a result increase revenue. You will be particularly focussed on ensuring Return On Investment is at the full front of your mind, ensuring each campaign is structured within budget as well as created smartly to maximise spend. You will work with an external agency therefore experience with building these types of relationships will be key.

* - Your primary focus is to plan, create and execute lead and demand generation programs and activities through multi-channel campaigns. Analysing market trends and customer data you will create impactful campaigns by working with the sales and business development teams and creative and digital agencies
* Responsible for digital channel management and the volume of digital leads generated for the business
* Business as usual responsibilities will include management of content and campaign calendars, press releases, production of weekly and monthly marketing activity reports and ensuring brand guidelines are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and plan events on behalf of the organisation
* Implement projects and carry them out from start to finish
* Manage and tweak budgets as required
* Understand the return on investment – ROI and collection of data from campaigns
* To work with a variety of industries at any one stage
* In time you will manage a Consumer Marketing Executive , hire and train this individual
* Work closely with the worlds most well known retail brand developing and executing an in store marketing plan
* Work to develop new partnerships and opportunities within field sales
* To manage PR agencies and PR Manager to deliver the global strategy
* Be able to be flexible with office hours – 50/50 at client meetings and in the office
* Work in partnership with the international digital marketing manager to create an effective digital marketing plan

Candidate Requirements

* To have solid marketing experience within the consumer marketing sector or to have worked within marketing for a brand or luxurious product
* Experience in customer liaison and support would be of an advantage
* Strong team player who is willing to share ideas across the brand
* Positive and can do attitude with a pro active approach
* To understand budgets and forecasting for the marketing department
* To have ran campaign events and projects
* To have dealt with ROI within a previous role
* Knowledge of trade marketing activities – shows, catalogues etc
* Knowledge within the fashion, sport and lifestyle sector
