Construction Project Manager

Set in magnificent grounds spanning over 170 acres,Wycombe Abbey offers its pupils a country lifestyle, whilst being located in the town of High Wycombe. Our self-contained estate comprises a diverse range of historic listed buildings as well as newly built properties. Facilities include a range of boarding houses, a state-of-the-art sports centre, a performing arts centre, a chapel, staff houses, sports pitches and courts, a lake, parkland and woodland.

This is an exciting opportunity for a project management professional to join our Estate Maintenance Team and take responsibility for a variety of estates development and refurbishment projects.
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, all year round. Some weekend work will be required. The position is particularly suited to someone with project design experience with a proven track record of managing complex projects to successful completion and the ability to control, oversee and prioritise multiple projects in a round-the-clock boarding school community.
The successful applicant will require the ability to manage various contractors to ensure the completion of projects to the highest standards of workmanship. The ability to use AutoCAD for technical drawing would be an advantage, but not essential.

To apply: Please complete an application form and submit this, together with a covering letter to the Bursar, Mr Nick Edwards by emailing the HR Officer, Kelly Scorer: scorerk@wycombeabbey.com.
Further details are found under Vacancies on the School website: www.wycombeabbey.com

Closing date: Noon, 23 September 2019.

Wycombe Abbey is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Successful applicants will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
