Greyhounds in Need (GIN) is a well-regarded charity heavily involved in the arduous work of greyhound welfare and homing, mainly in Spain but also in the UK. We are based in a self-contained office in Egham, Surrey, with easy parking. We need to appoint an Administrative Assistant to help with the running of the charity on a day-to-day basis.
This a full-time position, five days per week, (Monday to Friday 10 am5 pm), but flexibility of working is essential to fit in with the demands of a small busy office.
Computer competence and office experience are essential, especially knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Publisher. The work will include maintaining GINs supporters and contacts database, sending thank-you letters to donors, managing the charity merchandise sales and on-line shop, stock control. Additionally, the Assistant will be expected to help with other tasks which arise in a small busy office. Opportunity to see how we work on the ground in Spain.
