We have exciting opportunities in the Library and Resident Services Contact Team, with a number of roles available in the Telephony team that are responsible for answering phone calls on a complete range of council services and digital interactions from residents across seven days a week.

Full training will be given and we are seeking self-motivated, professional, friendly, enthusiastic, customer focused individuals to join our highly motivated and friendly team.
You will be working in a highly pressurised and at times challenging environment; you will be our first point of contact for our residents and must be able to communicate in a clear and friendly manner.

Ideally, you will have worked in a customer service environment and will be educated to GCSE level/NVQ Customer Care level 2 standard, or equivalent, with excellent communication and IT skills.

You will be required to work evenings (one a week) and weekends (two weekend days in every four weeks) on a rota basis and time off in the week will be given.

There will be opportunities to progress in the grades.
